![]() I think the leather will take the brunt of the force in a drop anyway, but it's nice to know that the TPU is there just to absorb any extra shock. The tpu bumper within the leather is very basic, but it doesn't need to be more than that. I personally think they should have just made it tall enough to comfortable fit bills, but it's not a deal breaker and I don't always carry cash anyway. ![]() ![]() To fit bank notes in there, I had to fold them in half, which then increases the thickness. As such, you can't slide any bills in if they're unfolded. US currency is about exactly as wide as the bill fold area. With this setup, it was not terribly thick, and freed up space in my other pocket, where I usually keep my wallet.Īnd here is my first and main issue with this case (gotta play devil's advocate and look for potential problems too!) - For what is already such a tall phone, I don't think I would have noticed if they'd made the leather section just 1 or 2 mm longer to accommodate bills better. I ended up filling the wallet section with: ID and two credit cards in the card slots, and a few 20 dollar bills and my work's ID badge (about the size of a thick credit card) into the bill fold area. The stitching looks quite nice, and the leather has a nice feel and look to it (I ordered the Cognac color). It came in a nice little pouch with some business cards. I was quite impressed with the packaging and the quality of the leather for a $30 case. I don't want to flood the accessories forum with multiple review posts, so here's my quick review of the iPulse leather wallet case (full disclosure, I received a free case for reviewing purposes).
